Made on 8 x 10 sheet film, the photograph is a double exposure of two paintings— George Cochran Lambdin’s Girl Reading, 1872 and William Hart’s Summer— The Passing Shower, 1873, neighbors residing in the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum.
