8 x 10 contact print, on Agfa Record Rapid grade 2 paper. Selenium toned and dry mounted on 14 x 17 Rising Museum board. Signed on mount recto, titled on verso. Printed in 2003.

This was a magnificent epiphyllum cactus which produced an extraordinary number of blooms that year. These flowers were a warm red, and rendered very dark by the slightly orthochromatic qualities of the Bergger film at the time when photographed in the late afternoon sunlight.
